PROJECT PROFILE
Grand Chateau is a remarkable transformation of an industrial building into a luxurious multi-level residence, where structural integrity, sustainability, and contemporary living come together seamlessly.
Rather than demolishing the existing framework, the design embraces the building's original structure, converting the upper floors into an expansive family home while retaining the lower levels as office spaces. This thoughtful approach preserves the character of the building while giving it an entirely new identity.
A key design challenge was introducing natural light into the deep industrial floor plate. Expansive balconies, landscaped terraces, and floor-to-ceiling glazing create a strong connection between the interiors and nature, bringing openness, greenery, and daylight into every level of the home.
The fourth floor forms the social heart of the residence, featuring spacious living and dining areas that extend onto lush outdoor decks. Above, a glass-enclosed family lounge offers uninterrupted city views, creating a peaceful retreat flooded with natural light.
The interiors celebrate understated luxury through a restrained palette of Michelangelo Italian marble, natural materials, and refined detailing. A sculptural marble staircase with fluted stone detailing becomes a defining architectural feature, connecting each level with elegance and continuity. Subtle colour accents personalize the bedrooms, while the master suite is designed as a serene sanctuary with bespoke wardrobes, premium finishes, and a calming material palette.
Designed around the family's lifestyle, the home includes a naturally lit art studio, a glass-walled gym, a rooftop entertainment lounge with lush landscaping, a private guest suite, a party lawn, and a dedicated prayer room—creating spaces that effortlessly balance everyday living with entertaining.
Grand Chateau is a celebration of adaptive design, demonstrating how an industrial structure can be reimagined into a timeless home that is elegant, functional, and deeply connected to the people who live within it.
